As Chief Content Officer of Mojang, Vu Bui oversees the creative direction, vision, and strategy for media, events, and other non-game efforts within the Minecraft franchise, including the Minecraft movie and MINECON.
Vu was one of the founders of the Block by Block program with UN-Habitat in 2012. He joined the Block by Block board in October 2015 and has participated in Block by Block projects in Kosovo, Quito, Nairobi, Kalobeyei, and Hanoi, where he presented the closing speech in Vietnamese. A renowned filmmaker and photographer, Vu has been named to the MediaGuardian 100 and WIRED 100 lists.
